The NFPA reports that space heaters are involved in 32% of home heating fires and 79% of home heating fire deaths.

Remember these important tips to keep warm and safe:

  • • keep them level and at least 3 ft. away from anything flammable!
  • • never leave them running!
  • • avoid using an extension cord!
